Tai Chi Chuan, an ancient Chinese exercise for health, fitness and relaxation, has been shown to bring down levels of stress dramatically in practitioners. Modern research suggests that the slow tranquil movements slow the heart rate and bring about a feeling of peaceful relaxation and calm. Practising the movements of Tai Chi increases energy levels and lays a good foundation for further improvement to one's health and well being. I have been teaching Tai Chi for more than 20 years and I beleive tai chi can reduce stress, create a healthy body and increase energy levelsTai Chi classes are held regularly in local Kent and East Sussex Adult Education Centres Classes are suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness - beginners to advanced.
